The processes used here are very similar to those outlined in the Graphic design & desktop publishing section. This service just adds the process of repairing damaged photos digitally.

The process goes like this... We scan your damaged photo into the computer, leaving the original safe and in the same condition that you brought it in. We restore the photo digitally by removing scratches, tears and other stains. This essentially involves painting the missing parts back into the photo. Any highly detailed areas such as the face are often hard to repair if the original detail has been destroyed. The background sometimes has to be replaced with an alternative but suitable background. Once the photo is free from blemishes, it is printed and laminated, ready for you to pick up.

You also have the option of scanning the photo yourself and sending us the file over the internet. Please consult us regarding image size before doing this.
