Terms used

3D graphics Three dimensional graphics created on computer. Objects are created on the computer and "photographed" to make them appear solid. A popular example of this style of graphic is the animated movie Toy Story


Artwork Any work dealing with laying out images and text.


Format Each program saves information in a specifically coded way. This coded structure is referred to as the file's format.
gsm Grams per Square Metre. A measure of paper weight. As a rough guide, a sheet of standard paper is about 80gsm, and thin cardboard is about 200gsm.


Laminate 1) To sandwich a thin sheet of material such as paper in between two sheets of plastic.
